Team Member

Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue Team is a volunteer, ground search and rescue team operating in the Parry Sound District of Ontario. We are on call 24/7/365 to assist in missing person searches and extrication, evidence searches, and other emergency management related incidents. We are tasked to respond by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and assist local emergency services. As members of the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association (OSARVA) and the Search and Rescue Volunteer Association of Canada (SARVAC) we may also assist elsewhere in the province or country. Our operations/equipment are based in Carling Township, but our members live throughout the area. We provide members with various training opportunities and meet monthly to practice skills to be ready to respond. Contact us for more information on the application process!
